Synposis
Unstrung Love is a music-driven romance drama set in Cheltenham, about two childhood best friends whose relationship is tested when a returning popstar comes into their lives. At its heart, it is about growing out of your first love and realising whether what you have is real or just familiarity. The film is heavily driven by music, using original songs from local artists, and blends performance with emotional storytelling. We have been building a team full of passionate filmmakers and are excited for the next steps!

Contribution
We are starting with GoFundMe to support the early development phase of the film and allow us to begin moving immediately. At this stage, we are focused on building the foundation, developing the project, connecting with the cast and collaborators, and creating initial material to strengthen the film moving forward. A full Kickstarter campaign will follow in the near future, with expanded details, rewards, and a wider public launch.

We are seeking companies and businesses that would like to get involved with the film. Whether that is on or off the screen. There are many scenes that can have natural integration of a brand deal such as food, scene dressing, instruments, etc. We are also seeking brands to work with us for the premiere and events we plan to hold to market the film!

Investment
We are looking for a small group of investors interested in supporting the film to help us reach our finance goal. We would be more than happy to sit down and have a chat to talk through the multiple ways this can be done.
Timeline!
Pre-production
We want to use the rest of this year to work on pre-production, rehearse, record the music and prepare for our filming in 2027. As this is community-driven and music-driven we are hosting real music events that are written within the film. We will be using the rest of this year to organize these events to ensure they are the best they can be!
Production
We plan to shoot January/February for up to twenty days. After we have wrapped, we will be jumping into post-production for a few months, where we will continue to market the film through some very exciting events we have planned for the public.
Distrubition
By summer, we will have decided our distribution plan for the film and are currently debating between the three options of a cinema release, festival run or an online streaming service.

About the writer/director
My name is Gabriella, and I moved to Cheltenham four years ago. Originally from New Jersey, I had never set foot outside of North America until my first day of university. I chose Cheltenham (can't remember how I found it), and four years later, I have chosen to stay because I fell in love with the town. I wrote this feature to come to life in the town that made me a filmmaker. Cheltenham has so many talented creatives... film, music, art, you name it, I promise you it’s here. This film is community-driven and with your support, we can make it the best it can be!
